Charles Schwab
Updated On: Jul 209, 2014

The IAFF voted at the 52nd Annual Convention to support California’s effort to remove Charles Schwab from the Board of Charles Schwab. It has come to light that Mr. Schwab “personally contributed $6.4 million to a ‘dark money campaign’ in support of Proposition 32, the viciously anti-labor ballot initiative on the 2012 California Ballot…Mr. Schwab, the Koch Brothers and other extremely wealthy contributors to this despicable effort went to great lengths to hide their involvement through a money-laundering scheme that used three 501 (c) (4) organizations.”

In solidarity with the IAFF, we are asking that any of our members with holdings in Charles Schwab Corporation vote their shares against Mr. Schwab’s reelection as board chairman. We need to stand together with our Brothers and Sisters to ensure a strong voice for all working people.
